International Graduate Student Scholarships

Graduate Scholars Award

Criteria
Incoming graduate students applying for their first or second master's degree who have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better based on all work in their most recent degree from an accredited college or university and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based).

Application
Students with international credentials may be required to submit an evaluation of their transcripts (by a recognized evaluation service) in order to be considered for this award. Application deadlines are: Fall entry - August 1,  Spring entry - December 1. Contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office at 516-299-2900 for further information.

Amount
Eligible graduates receive $125 grant per credit. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining acceptable academic performance as determined by C.W. Post.

Graduate Academic Award

Criteria

International Freshman Scholarships

Students applying from English Speaking countries and students whose first language is English must submit SAT scores in order to be considered for the freshman scholarships listed below.

C.W. Post International Scholars Award

Criteria
Entering full-time freshmen who have a high school cumulative average of 95 percent or better and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based), will be considered for the International Scholars Award.

Application
Students must file the CSS/Financial Aid Profile must be filed prior to the student's first year of enrollment. Application deadlines are: Fall Semester - March 1, Spring Semester - November 1. Contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office at 516-299-2900 for further information.

Amount
Eligible undergraduates $6,000 each year for a maximum of four years.

C.W. Post International Excellence Award

Criteria
Entering full-time freshmen who have a high school cumulative average of 90 percent or better and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based) will be considered for this award.

Application

Amount
Eligible undergraduates may receive $4,000 per year for a maximum of four years.

C.W. Post International Incentive Award

Criteria
Entering full-time freshmen who have a high school cumulative average of 85 percent or better and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based) will be considered for this award.

Eligible undergraduates may receive $2,000 per year for a maximum of four years.

International Transfer Student Scholarships

C.W. Post Transfer Scholars Award (Fall Entry Only)

Criteria
This grant is designed for full-time students transferring with an Associate's Degree (AS or AA) directly from an accredited community college with a cumulative average of 3.9 or better and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based). To be eligible for consideration, students must be full-time and must pay the flat tuition rate. Recipients of this scholarship must participate fully in the Honors and Merit Fellowship Program.

Application
Students must file the CSS/Financial Aid Profile must be filed prior to the student's first year of enrollment. Application deadline is: Fall Semester - July 1. Award is for students who enter the Fall Semester. Contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office at 516-299-2900 for further information.

Amount
A limited number of eligible full-time undergraduates receive up to $14,000 per year for a maximum of two years. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining acceptable academic performance as determined by C.W. Post.

C.W. Post Transfer Excellence Award

Criteria
This grant is designed for students transferring with 24 or more credits from an accredited college or university who have maintained a cumulative average of 3.75 or better and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based). To be eligible, students must be full-time and must pay the flat tuition rate. Recipients of this scholarship must participate fully in the Honors and Merit Fellowship Program.

This grant is designed for students transferring with 24 or more credits from an accredited college or university who have maintained a cumulative average of 3.4 to 3.74 and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based). To be eligible, students must be full-time and must pay the flat tuition rate.

Application
Students must file the CSS/Financial Aid Profile must be filed prior to the student's first year of enrollment. Application deadlines are: Summer Semester - July 1, Fall Semester - July 1, Spring Semester - November 1. Contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office at 516-299-2900 for further information.

Amount
Eligible full-time undergraduates receive $8,000 - $9,000 per year for a maximum of three years. Awards, including Honors Program funds, require full participation in the Honors and Merit Fellowship Program. C.W. Post Advanced Study Tuition Grant

Criteria
This grant is designed for students transferring with 24 or more credits from an accredited college or university with a cumulative average of 3.25 - 3.39 and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based). To be eligible, students must be full-time and must pay the flat tuition rate.

Application
Students must file the CSS/Financial Aid Profile must be filed prior to the student's first year of enrollment. Application deadlines are: Summer Semester - July 1, Fall Semester - July 1, Spring Semester - November 1. Contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office at 516-299-2900 for further information.

C.W. Post Transfer Incentive Award

This grant is designed for students transferring with 24 or more credits from an accredited college or university with a cumulative average of between 3.0 and 3.24 and a TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based, or 100 (internet -based). To be eligible, students must be full-time and must pay the flat tuition rate.
